In a heavy pot over medium heat, add oil. Add garlic and onion and cook until onions begin to soften, 2 minutes.
Add asparagus and celery, season with salt, and cook for 5 minutes.
Add broth and simmer, covered, until asparagus is very tender but still green, 10 to 15 minutes.
Using an immersion or regular blender, puree soup. Stir in coconut milk, then warm over low heat. Season with salt to taste. Garnish with more coconut milk and fresh dill.
